Sunday 23rd November sees this year's Family Funday and Fife Council's photographer, Andrew Beveridge, was at St. Columba's RC Primary School, Cupar, where the event will be held, to capture Provost Jim Leishman practising his piano skills. Provost Leishman will open the Family Funday.
A great success last year, the poster, which can be found here, gives full details of the myriad of things taking place, so be sure to come along to what promises to be another great day!
The prospectus for 2015 is ready and entries are invited for Session A which takes place from January 26th to February 6th.
The emphasis here is participation, with opportunities available for solo and group singers and instrumentalists to be part of exciting music-making. Classes, both competitive and non-competitive encourage entrants to perform for and learn from each other at venues in Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline and St. Andrews.
Entry forms, which must be completed and returned by October 1st 2014, are available from schools, libraries and on-line, with early entries, received by September 15th, attracting a discount!
